Medical technology business incubator

A 1,700 square meter business incubator for medical technology companies is to be established in the former hospital pharmacy building on the campus of the Mannheim University Medical Center.

After a brief conversion period the first companies are expected to move in. In addition to office space, it will provide what are known as innovation cubes (i-Cubes) plus on-site advice by medical technology experts. Innovation cubes (i-Cube) are standardized hybrid rooms for start-up companies suitable for multiple uses such as an office or simultaneously as an electrical engineering lab or mechanical workshop or pilot series production room. It is capable of adapting to changing start-up usage requirements over time.

mg: mannheimer gründungszentren gmbh will take over the center’s operation in close professional consultation with the medical technology cluster in the department of business and structural development aid.
