MMT Campus: Speed and Efficiency

The healthcare sector is shaped by complex technology, regulations, and risks. To achieve speed and efficiency from product development to production, start-ups, companies, research, and clinics must collaborate closely. This works particularly well where industry stakeholders meet at physical interfaces: at the Mannheim Medical Technology (MMT) Campus.

The MMT Campus surrounds the University Medical Center Mannheim, providing direct, barrier-free, walkable connections from engineers to clinicians. Several buildings for companies, start-ups, and research institutions are already built and leased, with more under construction or planning. Facilities include offices, labs, workshops, cleanrooms, coworking and conference spaces, as well as housing for research and project staff. Temporary space shortages can be addressed flexibly at the centrally located Business Development Center CUBEX ONE.

Living labs on campus allow product development under real-world conditions. This fully integrated, dynamic approach at the Mannheim site ensures greater speed and efficiency for the healthcare industry.

Campus motto:

“Entrepreneurs, clinicians, and researchers are only as far apart as a cup of coffee stays hot.”
